| Phantom Water Pump | You can easily fool SimCity 2000 into thinking you have a water surplus with only a single water pump in your city! Simply place a powered water pump somewhere in your city, but do not connect it to any buildings, pipes or other pumps. The game will mistakenly calculate that since there is unused water at that pump, there cannot possibly be a shortage and no one will complain. However, it is important to note that without any real water supply in your city, the land values of all unwatered tiles will be significantly reduced. |
